Dartford

Business Development Manager

Due to the continued growth of the Kenard Engineering Group a new role of Business Manager, based in Dartford, has been identified to support both the sales and commercial area of the business. A good understanding of precision engineering and commercial skills are essential.

As a key member of the sales process the post-holder will be required to effectively manage the commercial team in the compilation of estimates and tenders ensuring that financial targets are maintained. You will manage the quotation process to ensure the timely provision of quotations in line with the performance metrics and in conjunction with the Sales and Operations Directors, you will be required to authorize tenders prior to submission.

You will co-ordinate and manage customer site visits in conjunction with the relevant Sales Manager.

You will be required to represent the sales function within the business unit, including quotation review and contract review meetings.

You will ensure that the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system is managed correctly to ensure accurate forecast data is available and to provide
the business with a monthly update.

This is a senior position within the company and we believe it is an exciting opportunity for the post-holder to contribute to build the level of business across both facilities.

Sales Administrator

Due to the continued growth of the Kenard Engineering Group a new role of Sales Administrator for the Dartford Office has been identified.

Working closely with the Sales Director, the successful post-holder will support both the sales and commercial areas of the business. Good organisational skills and a professional proactive approach to customer service are required. Duties will include:

  • Management of meeting preparation
  • Customer Relationship Management Data Input
  • Organize resources for customer visits
  • Compile KPI data
  • Customer liaison (support sales managers)
  • Order intake preparation
  • Compile information for contract review
  • Organise hotel reservations

Tewkesbury

Newly Graduated Mechanical Engineer

Due to expansion an opportunity has arisen within our Tewkesbury facility for a newly graduated Mechanical Engineer. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, duties will include:

  • Production engineering of new products including FMEA, Quality and inspection plans
  • The development and implementation of a factory-wide quality and documentation system
  • Project management of quality aspect for new internal systems and management tools
  • Management of customer concern investigation and lessons learnt
